Our Ethos

The Values We Live By

Character is the foundation of everything we do. These values are taught in the classroom and practised in the corridors.

Knowledge

A love for learning that goes beyond the textbook — students are taught to question, think and understand.

Discipline

Order and responsibility — early habits of punctuality, neatness and self-control that serve children for life.

Respect

For elders, teachers, classmates and the community — the quiet courtesy of a well-brought-up child.

Compassion

Kindness in action — children learn to care for one another, help the struggling and serve the community.

Integrity

Honesty in word and deed — we encourage children to do the right thing even when no one is watching.

Excellence

Giving one's best — in studies, sports, art and conduct. We celebrate effort as much as achievement.

Our Approach

How We Teach & Learn

Learning at Carmel is interactive, practical and full of participation. Lessons are planned around the child — building understanding first, memory second.

A Welcome to Our School Family

"Every child is born with a spark. Our work is simply to find it, feed it and fan it into a flame. At Carmel, we teach with the head and care with the heart — building students who are ready for examinations, and for life."

We warmly invite you to visit the school, meet our team and see our campus — because a school is best judged by the feel of its corridors and the smile of its children.
